CamGirl or Fraud?
Why pretend to be a camgirl if they’re not? What purpose would that serve and why waste their time?
With the absence of law in this industry, order is held through a self-contained government, controlled by a collective mindset whose behavior resembles that of the Gestapo or KGB. In order to control a large group of people, generally, they will hand-pick one in an attempt to set an example for the others. It is a lot of work to control a mass amount of people but the benefits are large, especially when every single one of them is potential income for them.
What if the people use their strength in numbers to destroy that empire? The need for control is crucial to maintain this order.
They bully, manipulate, impersonate, are condescending, insulting, rude and harassing, but one of the best ways they exert control is less obvious and far more effective; by creating a camgirl persona to mix in with their fellow camgirls in an effort to gain trust within the community. Once that is acquired, their influence is used in damage-control situations and to keep things under control (their control). Rather than ‘advice’ coming from the sites themselves (who would believe them or not question their motives?), it’s more likely to gain acceptance looking like it’s coming from an actual camgirl. That in mind, how hard is it to upload a pic to a site, call yourself “camgirlxxx” and pretend you want to be anonymous because you don’t want to be stalked or bothered online? Yet, behind the mask is a person who is extremely controlling, bullying, completely fake. They will go to great lengths to convince you they’re real but fail to prove it in any authentic capacity.
Why such an elaborate scheme? It’s about control and the more they have of that, the more money they make.
Generally speaking, of camsites, we’ve already allowed them to:
- bring our commissions down with their studios which pay a lower commission rate in exchange for a higher volume of traffic.
- sell our videos all over the internet, without any royalties or payments made to us.
- continue ignoring our pleas to fix those site’s ‘glitches’ that have been going on for at least a year now and are proving more and more detrimental to our revenue-generating capabilities.
In certain industry forums, the difference between camgirls and the websites posing as camgirls couldn’t be more obvious. But, alas, this is the internet and we can be whoever we want in this fantasy world. If it just happens to benefit our earning potential, so be it. If it just so happens to bring us complete control over the industry’s camgirls (and their content), so be it. Right?
