CamGirl Clubs
After 15 years and a lot of taking it up the ass (surprisingly, I’m still a virgin back there), I’ve decided I want to not only clean up this industry but change the mindset and attitudes within it. For the longest time, sites have been taking a huge chunk of commission, offering nothing in return. A bare minimal amount (if any) is spent on advertising What we models collectively bring them as the direct result of self-promotion, are the only true efforts I have seen in years. Lacking the proper tools to market ourselves and retain our existing customers, we are forced to bring in our own traffic. I suppose some trust the affiliate programs and elusive details given in the stats presented for those sign-ups, but I don’t. My marketing efforts produced little results and the spending habits of those that I was paid for, were far too chinsy. I can see why people bail out of affiliate programs quickly. In any case, if I’m giving a site 65%, I expect them to provide the traffic (decent traffic).
There appears to be an abundance of helpful studios/agencies offering free promotion, out of the kindness of their hearts (or so they would have you believe because they can’t tell you who is paying them or what they are earning for running those studios/agencies). As we sit and watch our earnings drop, the choice is subtly given through social media platforms (like Twitter, for example), to accept less commission in exchange for the promises of a higher volume of traffic. All you have to do is sign on the dotted line, through such and such studio. The only ones with any real traffic are those managing the studios and the top performers/earners under them.
If 15 years in this industry has taught me anything, it’s that you can toil away at this for years and earn 1/10th of what you did 10 years ago. In a 2 &1/2 year span, you can go from being top row to 3rd or 4th row in the listings falling below all those new girls in american studios which are owned by the site itself where the above-mentioned commission rate changes apply. Their listing automatically rises to the top and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it. It’s part of the ‘agreement’ they have with the owners (the site). You can have the highest ratings, tons of great reviews, a great percentage of time in private versus time in the free room, yet still , you fall below. It’s a no-win situation. Bottomline thinking by the sites.
I’ve just grown tired of it all. The games, the greed, all of it. I’m going to start slow, do this right and hopefully turn this industry back into a place where camgirls meet customers, not where camgirls succumb to the bullshit of a pimped out industry, jump through hoops, work our tails off, promote ourselves and still end up walking away with just enough to barely survive. We’re fed just enough to keep producing. Much the way farm animals are treated. I’m just really sick of it.
Before anyone decides (because I know they will, especially after a blog like this) to go at me, calling me bitter and washed up – well I’m really not. In fact, my videos are being stolen almost daily, edited and uploaded to websites all over the world and being sold, used to market, etc. Just Google “amanda36c videos” and you should see about 29,000 results (this, over the years, of course) but I’ve seen plenty of recent ones. Alot of those sites charge a fee to members. I never saw any money from this. No royalties, nothing. Legally, if a site is to sell your content, they owe you a royalty for that. In the contract, they can only use your content for promotional purposes, not to sell, make a profit and never have to pay you. This is a huge misconception in the industry and the only reason they continue to get away with it is because noone has challenged them in a court of law. Or it never made it to court. But we allow this, therefore, it must be OK.
I also want to remove words like “slut”, “whore”, “cunt” from our vocabulary. I’m sure many girls would yell from the rooftops “I’m a whore”, to rebel against the society that frowns down upon us and calls us that, but do we truly represent the dictionary meaning, “a woman who engages in promiscuous sexual intercourse”? I know the word is to be taken lightly and used to describe someone who does this online but we have to remember that overall, society hasn’t changed all that much in their attitudes toward those in the sex industry. While we may be taking it lightly, others may not. This shouldn’t be a huge concern to us. I mean, after all, we don’t ever expect to meet these people, but it does define a general mindset toward us. If we all start calling ourselves “slut” and “whore”, then we’re only confirming that this is what we are, to society in general. Those that were unsure will take us simply at our word. How much of a stretch is it to believe we could be when we’re sitting there before them, naked as the day we were born and not shy one iota? People are programmed to stereotype others and draw assumptions based on what they’ve heard, when they don’t fully understand something. It’s much easier to do that than to conduct a study of the topic and all aspects of it. I realize that we really do teach others how to treat us and nowhere is that more important than in the adult entertainment industry.
I’ve created a content club, for myself at the moment but plan to bring others on board, as well, after some time. As I said, I want to do this right. My vision for this is to bring camgirls together and shift the focus on us and not to continue to line the pockets of the big players that continue to shrink our commission rate while profiting nicely from the sale of our content on millions of other websites worldwide. We have been allowing this to happen for far too long.
CamGirl Clubs offers a great low rate for the members. In time, that money will go toward setting up a system to allow other camgirls to join in and sell their content, as well. I’d like to eventually integrate live video feeds into the platform.
Communication is key in running a business, just as it is in any relationship. With that in mind, I have integrated a WordPress blog right here on my site, ro communicate with members. I also welcome anyone to follow me on Twitter (I follow back, especially if you actually tweet to me) and am always open to requests, suggestions, ideas, praise, criticism, small talk, heavy topics., however I’m not open to discussions designed to start flame wars, filled with animosity, hatred, insults, condescending pokes with no substance.
Those are my plans for the club, at the moment. Now, click below to check it out.

Hi Nicholas,
This has been in the making for quite some time but with my limited knowledge (only the basics of html and some ability to work javascript, php), that road was a long one and I had to dive into a lot of foreign territory here, getting my hands real dirty with things that, if I actually had the funds, would have easily been handed over to a developer. It was a LOT of work but I’m glad I did it myself. There’s something about doing it yourself that gives you that sense of accomplishment and confidence to continue moving forward. Thank you so much for being here, for your nice words and for your support. You have no idea what this means to me.
